Outside Lands Festival

Outside Lands 2012, what an amazing show, I got to see so many of my favorite musicians of all times with some of my best friends. This trip was crazy, I flew to San Francisco just for this. I really wanted to see Metallica, Stevie Wonder and really everyone else there. I brought all my gear as always, but inside I had to make a choice, do I want to watch the show and fully sumerge my self into the music or do I want to photograph some of my favorite musicians of all times? The choice was easy. I would of love to capture all this rock stars on stage, but instead every time someone came to the stage I put my camera away, I wanted to enjoy this to the fullest and that I did. The only photos I really took was of my friends and of the people walking around in between stages going to see their favorite bands. Sometimes the moments are left to be captured by someone else and for me to simply enjoy with out having to think about anything at all… Spread the love peeps and Happy Friday…

Catch of the Day

Happy Friday people. Here is a photo of a fisher man at Baker beach with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. I shot this after sunrise, I wanted to get the sun involved but it was sooooo foggy that the sun never shined through. If you ever go to SF baker beach is a must. The scenery is simply spectacular and the air is soul cleansing. Enjoy your weekend peeps and spread the love…

Shot of the day-The Broadway Tunnel

The Broadway Tunnel (officially the Robert C. Levy Tunnel) is a roadway tunnel in San Francisco, California. The tunnel opened in 1952, and serves as a high-capacity conduit for traffic between Chinatown and North Beach in the east and Russian Hill and Van Ness in the west. In a proposal of the city’s 1948 Transportation Plan, the tunnel was to serve as a link between the Embarcadero Freeway and the Central Freeway. (wikipedia)

I shot this photo a few months ago. I love this tunnel its awesome to walk through, but every now and then you get the asshole that honks his horn just to blow your ears off. Anyhow This is a HDR photo made from 3 exposures. You can see how I did it here.

The Golden Gate Bridge

One of the most iconic bridges in the world, The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco California. I have shot this bridge so many times and I can’t get enough, it is truly a master piece. Every time I am in SF I make time to go detox on top of this hill and enjoy this work of art. This photos were shot the same night around 1am on my most recent trip to the WestCoast. These are long exposures around 200 seconds each. It was freezing that night, the only thing that made everything warmer was the view of course, the company, my camera, and a beer in hand. Happy Sunday peeps. Spread the love. . .

Shot of the Day-Hidden Bay Bridge

This is the Bay Bridge in San Francisco California. I took this photo about 2:30 in the morning, I was drained, burned out and completely over it, Keep in mind I had been shooting since 5am almost 24 continuos hrs. I did a set of about 15 photos from a different location, on the walk back to the car the photographer I was with says “ohh this is a good shot” I said lets go Im over it, then a burst of energy came upon me, so I jumped on top of this weird maintenance house and took this one photo.

We went back to the hotel and I never thought about it until I got home and loaded the photos in my comp. As it turns out this is my favorite one from the whole set. Thank you so much to this amazing photographer for pointing this out when all I wanted to do was go to sleep…
