Shot of the Day-Port of San Francisco

Here is a photo taken from the 9th floor at the Hyatt Regency of the Ferry Building in SF. If you have never been here before and you go to San Francisco, this is a must, the interior of this hotel is stunning, you can also get this amazing view. I actually found out about this place from the iPad app Stuck On Earth by Tray Ratclif, this was a location by Thomas Hawk. If you don’t have this app you must get it. Its free and its amazing, check My Top Ten Apps for links and a review.

Shot of the Day-Life Tower

I have been out of town for the past few weeks thats why I have been a bit quiet (even thought I am always available on Facebook and Twitter no matter where I’m at). I was in the West Coast and I have new material that I will be posting shortly. For now here is a photo of my back yard. Its good to be home in warm weather. This is a life tower in South Pointe Park in Miami Beach.

Explode Your Brain With All of These Great Photography Links | Brooklyn NYC photography blog - [...] Flare – the incredible sun-flare is definitely the main topic in this shot, but this is backed up by the inclusion of some truly epic shadows that bring all sorts of drama into the composition.  Edin Chavez shares an image that is sure to delight the viewer upon the initial viewing, but also continues to deliver interest and drama as you spend time taking some of the finer details in at length. Shot of the Day-Standing Still

As usual I went out shooting all day yesterday. I was actually making a video on how to make a time lapse, but next thing you know I got side tracked by my surroundings (one of the reasons I love photography) and I started shooting long exposures. Next thing you know I was making a tutorial on long exposures. This is what a typical day in Edin’s shoes looks like. Click on the photo and check it out. Please let me know what you think and please, please, please share it. Have a great rest of the day peeps and enjoy.
