Nikon J1 Review

I recently got my hands on a Nikon J1 and I have been shooting with it here and there. Here is my Nikon j1 review. My first impression, this camera is just cool. Slim, sleek, compact and light. I found this is a great all around camera. It can be fully automatic or full manual. It shoots jpeg or Raw. Now there is some down sides to it, the sensor is tiny so shooting at night with no flash is really not an option, I mean it is but the photos are no better than those from a cell phone (unless you use flash or unless you are using a tripod and keep you ISO low. On the plus side, the camera actually shoots really good photos during the day, when there is plenty of light present. All in all a good camera to carry around with out worrying about weighing you down. Below are some photos I took with it around my neighborhood, you be the judge. Check out my other DSLR Reviews.

The Nikon 1 J1 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 10-30mm VR Zoom Lens (White) is a compact and easily portable digital camera with a 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 VR Zoom Lens. The mirrorless design allows the camera to be extra-small and lightweight, while still retaining all of the best qualities of a mirrored model. Featuring a high-resolution 10.1MP CX-Format High-Speed AF CMOS Sensor and an EXPEED 3 dual image processor, this small device packs some punch. The sensor enables great photos even in low light, while the EXPEED 3 enables superior system performance, high-speed processing, advanced phase detection autofocus and high-speed data transfer rates.
