Homeless Portraits

Homeless Portraits.

I have always been intrigued by people. I always find my self talking to all types, but homeless people intrigue me the most.  I want to know what happened, how did they get to where they are. At one point they were somebody’s little bundle of joy right? I often go to the beach and hang out with them, some are really sick and some are completely normal, they simply gave up or could not overcome an obstacle in their life.

It is amazing when you start talking to them you realize they are just like you and me, nothing different, they want to be loved, understood and hugged from time to time. In this project  I wanted to capture their soul by looking beyond their eyes with my camera.  Next time you see a homeless person dont be so quick to judge and disregard them. Lend them a hand instead…

Please keep checking back as this is an on going project and please help me spread the love. . .

Rene Triay - Edin, Fabulous shots. I too sympathize with them but would be a bit afraid of getting a negative reaction.

Patti Ballaz - Homeless people are a fascination of mine as well. When they were children no one planned on being homeless when they grew up. Each one of them had dreams and expectations and something just went wrong along the way.
Edin your photographs are beautiful.

Shot of the day-Sail Away

This is from a shoot I did a few weeks back for this lovely couple. We went out sailing to see the sunset, they wanted some cool engagement photos. It was my first time on a sailboat and I must say I am fully addicted, it was just so incredible. I have been in many boat but sailing is something else. If you have a sail boat and are in need of a photographer, I am your guy….

Shot of the Day-Raygun Gothic Rocketship

The Raygun Gothic Rocketship is one really cool sculpture in San Francisco. Located near Pier 14 on the Embarcadero it sits right on the waterfront next to the San Francisco Ferry Building. What you see behind it is the amazing Oakland Bridge. Have a safe and amazing weekend peeps. Spread the love…
